Chaga Mushroom is unique among medicinal mushrooms and may be one of the most important antiaging supplements yet discovered. Like all medicinal
mushrooms, Chaga contains the nonlinear, complex polysaccharides that give the Chaga extracts potent immune supporting properties. However, Chaga also has an extremely high ORAC value (antioxidant properties), similar to that of blueberry extracts,Chaga Mushroom also has melanin compounds that nourish the skin and hair. The betulin and betulinic acid compounds, similar to the triterpenes found in Reishi, also have immune supporting properties.Chaga Mushroom is a mushroom that must be wild crafted as only those mushrooms harvested from living birch trees will have the full compliments of active compounds Chaga is famous for. Our Chaga extract contains guaranteed levels of all the active compounds described in the scientific research, including the non-linear polysaccharides.

The amount is small but I like the product and how it helped me.

It states we could put this in our smoothie, so that is what we did. We opened it up, realized it didn’t really smell like anything. And sure enough, what is nice about this is that when mixed in your smoothie, you cannot taste it is there. At first you think they must be kidding, who wants to mix mushroom powder in their smoothie right? Well, we continue to use it because it is just one of those things that is just kind of there. You don’t realize it is good for you but clearly it is because it has more antioxidants than blueberries!
Lisa K. Carey-guseman –
I put it in my smoothies for health benefits.
V. Pack –
Chaga is just so good for you. I use this extract by mixing a little with my coffee grounds in my French press. If you use too much in coffee it can taste bitter, so start with a small amount. I also put this in smoothies. I’m sure there are other way to use this, maybe mix into soups. Anyway, I continue to look for other ways to use this wonderful powder because the health benefits are tremendous.
AnaCustomer –
Great quality. The powder is a little on the chunkier side. I don’t notice the texture in my morning smoothie but my husband does.

Love this product, especially with hazelnut creamer……Great for cardiac health and cancer disease.
Bronx Book Nerd –
Nice quality and non-GMO chaga powder for tea. Doesn’t dissolve entirely (as stated on the bag), so it could use a tea bag, but the remnants are not terribly big. Fair price for a decent supply. Pleasant taste.

First drink of this I was too sleepy. Next drink it went ok and blood sugar went down .
Latequa –
GREAT for reducing inflammation! The taste is not bad one bit. I use 3 pks of Splenda and a lid &1/2 of vanilla extract and it’s a go!! I usually take it in the AM and PM. AMAZING QUALITY

Very good, I never try before but I really like it
Adulting101 –
Honestly my mind was blown when I made this and it did not taste anywhere as disgusting as I was thinking it would. I mean I like mushrooms. Easily and fully dissolved. After doing some light reading, I’m looking forward to trying it in soups/foods/smoothies. Great quality product – great benefits – price reflects that, but could be a little more reasonable.

I have purchased quite a lot of chaga mushroom powders of various brands over the years and drink chaga powder in my coffee every single morning. I purchased some chaga in chunks to brew as tea too, but find the powder is easier to use and consume. The reason I consume so much chaga is because it is an extremely powerful anti-viral and is so good for the immune system as well as having other health benefits. So, when this bag of chaga mushroom powder appeared on my list of items I could review I could not pass it up. It is every bit as good as all the chaga I’ve purchased and the price is very reasonable. It’s been harvested from birch trees and that is by far the best kind as it has all of the healthy properties that other chagas grown on other medias do not have. I have nothing negative to say about this chaga mushroom powder. It won’t dissolve in your coffee because it’s dried, ground up chaga which is very firm in it’s natural state. I stir my coffee before drinking it to mix the settled chaga up so I can swallow it. It has no flavor this way and is very easy to drink in coffee. The packaging could have been better as a cloud of chaga powder exploded out when I opened it up and I probably lost about a full teaspoon of it all over the chair and floor.

It reduces stress.Yes it works.Chaga works. Its been called the best stress reducer on the planet (well other than… you know.. what all us guys always want) but yeah it really does work.Review done. thats all you need to know. stress reducer 101.5 stars!

For tea drinkers out there that might be experiencing Chaga for the first time like me, this is earthy with a very tiny bit of bitterness. It strongly resembles pu-erh tea in every way from the color, taste, and texture. I’m not a fan of mushrooms, but as a lover of pu-erh, this is pretty good. The powder doesn’t completely dissolve in your drink and might create some sediments/sludge on the bottom. Overall, I enjoyed this Chaga straight.

Studies have associated mushroom, like Chaga, with potential health benefits regarding immune system, cardiovascular system, cognitive/neurological system, blood pressure and general wellness. They contain compounds that are antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.I added a level teaspoon of this powder into a cup of coffee, and it has the recognizable earthiness, mushroom flavor. I’ll be adding this powder, along with a few other mushroom extract powders, to my morning coffee. I appreciate that they Chaga Mushroom is listed as an extract, although they don’t provide the extract concentration. The label displays a number of badges. For me, the USDA Organic certification is an important badge. It demonstrates a level of quality and purity of the ingredients. This is a plus for the product, checking off an important box for me.I feel that it’s an excellent source of Chaga Mushroom Powder (as an extract). Thus it earns a 4.5 – 4.75 star rating, with a very high level recommendation.
Bronx Book Nerd –
This is a good chaga supplement with a fair price and a good 50 day supply. The taste is tolerable. You can add it to water or juice with good effect. Compact packaging. It’s non-GMO.

Well, I love the health benefits of mushrooms and personally I think the cures of the future will involve mushrooms. But I’m not a mushroom tea lover, although I will mix some in a cup of green or black tea occasionally. I simply sprinkle it over my dinners and eat it that way. I don’t find the taste stands out from whatever I’m eating, so it works good for me. And I try and rotate my powders. I just finished a bag of Shittake powder and I’ll try another type next time. Read about mushrooms and I think you’ll add them to your diet too. This is produced Natural which also grows beets for my beet root powder and it’s a clean product to boot . It’s an easy and affordable boost to your health.

This extract is a good addition to smoothies. Be certain you do not add too much as the flavor will come through any other flavor of your smoothie.

USDA Certified Organic. Good in organic home made hot cocoa & organic pu-reh tea. You do not need a hand held frother or blender to get it to dissolve. A spoon & a little time does the trick no problem. To get really healthy, make a hot cuppa home made cocoa by replacing the hot water with broth (bone, chicken, beef, whatever you have on hand &/or like) & a tsp of chaga mushroom powder. You can add whatever else floats your boat, like cinnamon, maple syrup, MCT or cream, or coconut milk, etc. When I make it this way, I like to use my hand held frother. The negative is the bag this is shipped in. I ended up wasting a bit first upon opening. Even though I shook the bag down & tapped it, there was still a lot of powder above the cut line. The zipper seal was clogged with powder making it impossible to close. To keep it fresh & help preserve the nutritional benefits, I poured the contents into an amber glass Ball canning jar.

I am generally not a fan of mushroom supplement products, but as my doctor recommended it, I’ve been trying different types. This powder seems to be the winner. It mixes well into recipes and because of that, the mushroom taste is not as noticeable. If you use it in smoothies or foods that have strong flavors, the powder is mostly unnoticeable. If you plan to use a mushroom supplement, I recommend this powder over other forms.
Precise Disarray –
I have the Chaga mushroom extract. I keep a wide assortment of mushroom extracts and powders in my kitchen apothecary. I use the extracts daily in my coffee, and I use powders for use in food. Be sure to select the option that works best for you. Mushroom extracts dissolve, powders usually do not. Think of the later as dried ground food. So add it to soups, stews, whatever. Or make a tea with it, something I never ever do. Hence, why I chose the extract. It is a fine powder that dissolves very easily. This Chaga extract is really nice. Deep, dark, and blends seamless in with my coffee. No particular flavor stands out. I am a huge fan of supplementing with mushrooms, and this falls within expectation of performance and price.Dont need much, just 1/2 tsp a day will do it. 80 servings per packet.

I am so happy with this Chaga! it has really helped me with my inflammatory condition. Best of all, it is organic so I do not have to worry about the growing medium it was arrested from. Peace of mind from grower to package!5 stars! LOVE it! 911healty

I’ve recently begun taking mushroom supplements as I hear more and more how good they are for health and the many benefits. I have read of the many health benefits associated with the Chaga mushrooms so I was excited to try this powder extract. This chaga mushroom powder arrived quickly and securely sealed and packaged. The powder is a rich brown. I’ve been adding the powder to my daily smoothies and I don’t taste a difference and the powder blend very well into the smoothie. It’s too soon to say if I notice any health benefits as I’ve just begun taking this powder but so far I’m very pleased with how easy this was to incorporate into my daily routine.

I’m a big chaga fan, and this is the good stuff. It’s certified organic, it’s an extract rather than raw powdered shroom, and it’s got a nice dark, deep flavor. I take chaga every day as an immune booster, and this is a good way to go. I put it in my smoothie, and it blends right in. Decent price, good chaga.

I’ve never tried any chaga mushroom products previous to this, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The “dosage” listed is 1-2 t. I tried 2 t in 2 cups of hot water, and that was way too strong. I’d guess you want to use no more than 1/2 t per cup of water, unless you want to take this like it’s medicine and just sort of chug it. I am disappointed that there is really no information on this product page or the package about what the difference between extract and plain powder. And while they state here that the mushrooms come from “Inner Mongolia”, the package itself says nothing about the origin of the mushrooms. It’s claimed to be organic, but who is really going to Mongolia to check this. How do they really know?
S. SadlerS. Sadler –
This powdered supplement dissolves well in hot and cold liquids. Added a richness to my morning coffee that is surprisingly tasty. Not as earthy as other mushrooms, more subtle in flavor. I can’t attest to the health benefits but I like to occasionally add these supplements as they seem to have benefits in the long term. This particular brand has some added immunity boosters like elderberry and acai. But strangely no information on where the mushrooms are sourced, likely several international sources which is something I would like more transparency on. This is FDA certified as organic but this means little today as it is little more than paying a large fee for certification.

Any of you who have seen the nutritional information have probably noticed something weird: it looks like it’s saying that there are 339 calories per 1-2 tsp of this powder. Turns out it’s probably the nutritional information for the whole bag, which is weird, because I wasn’t PLANNING on eating the whole bag at once…I did some calculation and here are the nutrition facts per teaspoon (5g) serving:17 Calories3g (2.7) Carbs1g (0.9) Protein0g (0.1g) FatYou’re welcome!I’m going to be regularly taking 1 tsp of this earlier in the day, either as a tea or in smoothies or coffee (I hear that it mixes in well.) Chaga can help fight cancer (in one study they were able to reduce tumor size by 60%!) It also helps lower blood sugar and increase insulin sensitivity (which I need.)

I love that this chaga tea powder comes in a packaging bag that isn’t plastic or metal since I’m doing my best to rid myself and my household of heavy metals and plastics that are harmful to the body and Environment. Kudos that this company has done so. Love the product as well.

I know my body needs mushrooms because I crave them, so I’ve been delving into the world of medicinal mushrooms for several years now. There are a number of them, and I’ve been trying to learn them one at a time, focusing mainly on those I can find growing in my own yard (turkey tails, reishi). I’m new to chaga but thought I’d try this powder to see if it would work in my coffee in the morning. Coffee bothers my stomach, making me a little queasy, but adding cream adds calories I don’t particularly want to add. Chaga has about 15 calories per half teaspoon, which is a good bit less than the glug of cream I’ve been using to keep my coffee from bothering me.To test this chaga powder, I put half the recommended dose of 1 teaspoon into my first mug of coffee with some cream. It stirred in pretty easily and quickly just with a spoon. I was surprised that the flavor of the coffee was actually better than usual, although I couldn’t quite put my finger on why. I decided to put another 1/2 tsp. in my second mug without cream, and it also tasted good. It does give the coffee a bit—only a bit—of a cloudy look, but it wasn’t distasteful. I could see myself drinking black coffee with chaga every morning. Importantly, my coffee didn’t make me feel sick! So, I went out researching the history and purported benefits of chaga and was completely blown away. I NEED THIS. I won’t go into the details here; just google it. (Also google “nih chaga” or “pubmed chaga” and see what turns up. I think you’ll be shocked at the research being done on this mushroom.) But the one thing I am most interested in chaga for right now is aiding my digestive system, because it hasn’t been working too well as I’ve gotten older. I don’t want to have to give up coffee, so adding chaga will help me in that regard. I felt an immediate energy boost, too, when I drank it. One teaspoon only, total, and I already feel much better. So I’m very pleased. The powder is very fine and will float all over the place, so be careful opening the bag. I immediately put mine into a pint-sized mason jar, which it filled almost to the rim, and will keep it in a cool, dark place.
