Mushrooms have been a source of food, religious rites, clothing, and medicines for thousands of years. And now that science has caught up to the ancient remedy, we are just beginning to discover the many ways mushrooms can help us—from boosting longevity and our immune-system, to improving memory in conditions like dementia.
Antioxidants are known to help with longevity, and mushrooms are packed with those. Mushrooms contain a super-high concentration of two antioxidants: ergothioneine and glutathione

Lion’s Mane:
For mental clarity, memory, focus, alertness, nerve health and overall brain support, look no further than Lion’s Mane. Sometimes called “the smart mushroom,” Lion’s Mane is chock-full of natural nutrients such as ericinones and hericenones that support cognitive and neurological health. Reported in many studies, Lion’s Mane has been shown to stimulate the synthesis of nerve growth factor (NGF), a protein that supports the growth and normal function of nerve cells.
Naturally found growing on hardwood tree trunks, this crazy looking mushroom is showing some interesting brain-boosting potential.
In a study published in 2009, scientists found that lion’s mane mushrooms can help improve cognitive function (1). A group of 30 people with mild cognitive impairment (the pre-cursor to dementia), aged 50 to 80, took capsules containing dried lion’s mane extract every day for 16 weeks. At the end of that period, researchers found subjects had significantly improved scores on a test measuring their cognition. The group also had fewer depressive symptoms and anxiety than those who took a placebo.
Incredibly, extracts obtained from lion’s mane mushroom have been shown to stimulate and maintain new brain cells. It does this by activating NGF-1, a signalling molecule that tells your body to produce new nerve cells.
Reishi:
Revered in Traditional Medicine as the “mushroom of immortality,” Reishi is one of the most popular whole food functional mushrooms because of its wide range of health benefits. Reishi contains powerful, natural beta glucans that support immune system functionality. Considered by many to be a superior adaptogen, Reishi works with your body to help manage everyday physical, mental and emotional stressors and restore balance in a natural and healthy way. It contains a compound called triterpene, which helps support and regulate mood.
Reishi is known as the “mushroom of immortality,” and its usage dates back over 4,000 years. It has been used in Asia for a variety of purposes, ranging from promoting longevity to improving liver health. Modern research has confirmed many of these claims, in particular discovering that reishi mushrooms has immune-boosting effects.
The past 2 years have shown us just how important a healthy immune system is. It works around the clock to provide us with 24/7 protection from a scary range of bacteria, viruses and parasites.
So could something as simple as a mushroom actually improve our immune-system? The science suggests yes.
Reishi mushrooms contain a fascinating compound called beta-glucan. This compound packs a punch by stimulating white blood cells and increase natural killer (NK) cell activity. These are your body’s first line of defence against attacking organisms.
FYI: Beta-glucan is also found in oats and has been shown to lower ‘bad cholesterol’ and even improve blood sugars.

Chaga:
Although all functional mushrooms contain antioxidants, Chaga stands out as a free radical-fighting powerhouse. Often referred to as the “King of Medicinal Mushrooms,” Chaga has been used extensively by traditional healers in North America, Europe and Asia. Chaga provides a broad range of natural bioactive compounds with significant antioxidant and immunity-supporting benefits. Nutritionally dense, it contains beta glucans, amino acids, potassium, zinc, calcium and vitamins such as biotin, vitamin D, and B-vitamins, as well as other health-supporting nutrients.
Chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus) is a type of fungus that grows mainly on the bark of birch trees in cold climates, such as Northern Europe, Siberia, Russia, Korea, Northern Canada and Alaska.
Chaga is also known by other names, such as black mass, clinker polypore, birch canker polypore, cinder conk and the sterile conk trunk rot (of birch).
Chaga produces a woody growth, or conk, which looks similar to a clump of burnt charcoal — roughly 10–15 inches (25–38 centimeters) in size. However, the inside reveals a soft core with an orange color.
For centuries, chaga has been used as a traditional medicine in Russia and other Northern European countries, mainly to boost immunity and overall health.
It has also been used to treat diabetes, certain cancers and heart disease.
Traditionally, chaga was grated into a fine powder and brewed as an herbal tea.
Nowadays, it’s not only available as a tea but also as a powdered or capsuled supplement. The tea may feature chaga alone or in combination with other mushrooms, such as cordyceps.
Taking chaga with either warm or cold water is believed to release its medicinal properties.
That said, they’re low in calories, very high in fiber and loaded with antioxidants.
Cordyceps:
Known as a functional mushroom for energy and endurance, Cordyceps is ideal for a healthy start to the day, as an afternoon pick-me-up or a pre-workout supplement. Used for centuries in traditional Chinese and Tibetan cultures as a natural energy and vitality elixir, Cordyceps is used today to support increased energy, endurance, performance, stamina and vitality. This striking-looking mushroom contains cordycepin and other natural bioactive compounds. It supports the availability of oxygen in the body which can help improve blood flow, a necessity for effective athletic performance. Cordyceps is not just for athletes, however. It works well for anyone looking for ways to take on the physical demands of everyday life that we all experience.
Cordyceps mushroom, a fungus that grows in the high-altitude grasslands of China and Tibet, has been used for thousands of years in Chinese medicine (which is where its name comes from: cordy means “summer insect”, and ceps means “head”), but it’s only since the 1990s that it’s become known to Westerners.
Cordyceps is highly regarded for its ability to slow down aging, strengthen the immune system, boost athletic performance, and increase vitality.
It first gained attention for improving aerobic exercise thresholds in 1993, when Chinese athletes Wang Junxia, Qu Yunxia and Zhang LinLi, broke world records in the 1500, 3000 and 10,000 metres at the Chinese National Games.
Their coach, Ma Junren, adopted an allegedly scientific training strategy, attributing their performances to daily cordyceps tonics and a brutal, altitude training program (although later their reputation was tarnished after the athletes were found to also be doping).
-
A 2021 study in long-distance runners found cordyceps ingestion increased key performance indicators compared to a placebo (7).
-
Similar results were also found in a group of 37 elderly subjects who had supplemented with cordyceps compared to a placebo
Turkey Tail:
Turkey Tail is one of the most researched functional mushrooms for its powerful natural polysaccharides. The beta glucans and other nutrients, such as antioxidants, found in this beautiful mushroom support immune health. Turkey Tail contains a broad array of compounds, including prebiotics known to improve gut health, which plays a role in supporting immune system vitality. It has been brewed in Chinese medicinal teas for thousands of years. Despite its unusual name, Turkey Tail, like all functional mushroom, contains no animal elements and is good for vegans, vegetarians, and anyone looking for nutrient dense, healthy nutrition. It is identifiable by its fall-like colors and swirling cloud contours, and is one of the world’s most functional foods.
Turkey tail is a medicinal mushroom that’s full of antioxidants and other compounds. Evidence shows it may help fortify your immune system, maintain healthy gut bacteria, and support the treatment of some cancers.
Medicinal mushrooms are types of fungi that contain compounds known to benefit health.
While there is an abundance of mushrooms with medicinal properties, one of the most well-known is Trametes versicolor, also known as Coriolus versicolor.
Commonly called turkey tail due to its striking colors, Trametes versicolor has been used around the world for centuries to treat various conditions.
Perhaps the most impressive quality of the turkey tail mushroom is its ability to enhance the health of your immune system.
Shiitake:
The beneficial properties of shiitake mushrooms have been prized in traditional Chinese medicine for over 6,000 years. The antioxidant activity of polysaccharides (beta-glucans) contained in shiitake help maintain cell integrity and fight free radicals. Shiitake supports immune health to help you stay feeling your best and supports the body’s immune defenses to stay feeling healthy.Shiitake mushrooms may promote heart health, reduce prostate cancer risk, help with gingivitis, boost immunity, and improve the nutritional status of plant-based eaters. Shiitake mushrooms also have been used as a natural remedy in alternative medicine for centuries. Likewise, modern medicine demonstrates shiitake mushrooms’ promising health benefits.
For hundreds of years, shiitake mushrooms have been a popular food source in Asia. In fact, they’re the second most popular and the third most widely cultivated edible mushroom in the world.
Today, shiitakes can be found in most grocery stores because of their meaty and versatile flavor, but did you know that they’re packed with B vitamins and have the power to fight cancer cells, cardiovascular disease and infections? That’s just a few of shiitake mushroom nutrition benefits.
Why are these small fungi so powerful? It’s because shiitake mushrooms have antiviral, antibacterial and antifungal properties.
They also help control blood sugar levels and reduce inflammation within the body. That’s right — all of these health benefits come from eating a mushroom, and there are a ton of easy ways to incorporate shiitake mushrooms into your diet.

Maitake:
Medicinal mushrooms have been used for thousands of years to help promote better health, and mushroom varieties, such as psilocybin mushrooms and turkey tail mushrooms, are well-known for their incredible health-promoting properties. The maitake mushroom is no exception.
Not only is it delicious and full of nutrients, but it also boasts some pretty amazing health benefits.
In recent years, the maitake mushroom has garnered worldwide attention as more and more emerging research continues to unearth its multitude of health-promoting properties. This is largely thanks to the presence of D-fraction, a specific compound extracted from the maitake mushroom that has been shown to have therapeutic effects for cancer patients.
Today, maitake mushrooms are continuing to gain widespread popularity across the globe as more people have come to appreciate them for their medicinal properties, versatility and delicious flavor.
Maitake (the name is Japanese for “dancing mushroom”) helps support a healthy blood sugar level in the body. Due to its properties, this functional mushroom has a positive effect on overall immunity. Maitake contains an array of beta glucans, such as 1, 3/1, 6 beta-D glucan compounds that support immune function as well as a variety of minerals and vitamins, including copper, potassium and vitamins B and C. Available in powders and capsules, you can add this superfood mushroom to pasta, pizza, omelettes, soups and sauces. Delicious in savory dishes, it has a pleasant, earthy taste.
“Maitake” means dancing mushroom in Japanese. The mushroom is said to have gotten its name after people danced with happiness upon finding it in the wild, such are its incredible healing properties.
This mushroom is a type of adaptogen. Adaptogens assist the body in fighting against any type of mental or physical difficulty. They also work to regulate systems of the body that have become unbalanced. While this mushroom can be used in recipes for taste alone, it’s considered to be a medicinal mushroom.
The mushroom grows wild in parts of Japan, China, and North America. It grows at the bottom of Oak, Elm, and Maple trees. It can be cultivated and even grown at home, though it typically won’t grow as well as it does in the wild. You can usually find the mushroom during the autumn months.
Although maitake mushroom has been used in Japan and China for thousands of years, it has only gained popularity in the United States over the last twenty years. People are praising this mushroom for its promises of health, vitality, and longevity.

Wood Ear:
Wood ear mushrooms look beautiful and add an earthy flavour and texture to dishes.
They are also jam packed with anti-oxidants and polyphenols, but the big super star compound in Wood Ear mushroom (and many other medicinal mushrooms) is its high content of polysaccharides.Make it stand out
Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
These polysaccharides are responsible for most of Wood Ear mushroom’s health benefits. They are great for cholesterol and have been found to lower triglycerides, total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol. They are also thought to be responsible for Wood Ear mushroom’s anti-tumour and anti-coagulant activity.
The polysaccharides also act as a prebiotic which is basically the food for beneficial gut bacteria. Studies have shown that these polysaccharides stimulate growth and survival of beneficial strains of gut bacteria, such as Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium.
Hot water extracts of Wood ear mushroom have have a beneficial effect on blood sugar levels after meals, helping to remain steady instead of causing a blood glucose spike.
Interestingly, there has been some recent research into its anti-convulsant properties and there are some interesting proposed uses for the wood ear mushroom extract, including as an anti-epileptic drug.
Some early research also shows Wood Ear mushroom extract has potent aphrodiasiac effects! So, maybe a good mushroom to add to your Valentine’s dinner menu!

People use black hoof mushroom by mouth for allergies, arthritis, diabetes, and many other conditions.
Oyster Mushrooms:
Most of the incredible oyster mushroom health benefits come from its awesome nutritional profile.

The shrooms are amazing. With good gut health and about 30 days of daily usage, it really does add to my coffee; rather than polite it. The flavor is good and the effects are very noticeable and beneficial.
My shroom journey so far:
It starts somewhere; I can’t recall where. But there was this call to make changes in my existence and the universe told me that shrooms were the way. So, I got this blend to start. In the beginning of my journey to where I am now, it seems important to realize where I came from. I’m a 43 year old man in decent health. Let’s back up a little though, about 3 months.
I am 6’1” tall and was sitting at 243 pounds; fairly comfortable, eating 2-3 meals per day, very little to no exercise and not really drinking much water throughout the day. Fast forward to today, I drink a gallon or more of just water in top of my one glass of whole milk and coffee per day. Drink a lot of water can be bad, depending on the water, because it can flush vital minerals and nutrients from the body and potentially replace them with harmful substances. (Be sure to check your local water so you know for sure.) I decided it best for my health to have culligan water delivered for my drinking. Culligan water is reverse osmosis which removes 99.999% of everything from the water. I also purchased trace minerals here on 911healty. I add 8ml to each 5 gallon container and suddenly, I’m drinking the most mineral enriched and pH balanced water on a budget that anyone can obtain. (You should too) Then, I stopped eating 3 meals a day. I eat once at 6pm and consumer anywhere between 1500-2500 calories depending on what’s being served. Mushroom supplements in the morning have served their purpose in helping me maintain focus and energy. I still do not exercise to this day and in 3 months have successfully lost 40 pounds. I’m not saying this is the cheat code for everyone, but it certainly could be if you try it.

I’m not feeling what everyone else is feeling, lol. I was recommended this by a fellow shroom lovin friend who swears by this stuff! I suffer from generalized anxiety, allergies, low energy, the list goes on. I know this wasn’t going to be a one size fits all situation so no worries. To start, I was mixing it with my morning coffee and would be nauseous and had anxiety for a good hour afterward. My friend told me to eat something to get rid of the “yuck gut”, so I started mixing it with my oatmeal. Success! The taste isn’t terrible. Imagine eating dirt and mushrooms. I noticed a very slight enhance in my clarity levels about an hour after eating, but nothing too brilliant. Will finish the bag and will come back to edit review if anything’s different.

So far, so good. I’m enjoying it and love knowing that I’m giving myself something healthy!

Makes me calmer for a little while after taking. You don’t have to take a full dose either. As with many mushrooms, it bloats me so I cannot take them when full or getting full. Price is a bit much. Hope it comes down with industrialization and mass production although it must maintain quality.
Jonathon (verified owner) –
I really enjoy it! I prefer not the taste alone, but I’ll mix it in with my supplement shakes and surprisingly it makes my drink taste like a cinnamon roll! It’s been working super good as well, my mood is regulating and so is my energy!!

I tried this mix about a year ago. The 10 mushroom mix helped me boost my immune system. When I had a cold this past winter, the symptoms were mild and I recovered quickly. 🙃
I’ve now started to take the mix regularly.
Just purchased more bags for my sister and sons to try.
Great product!!!
Totally satisfied customer.

I drink a lot of coffee a-lot, I’m someone that likes to be ON at all times, and I’d say throughout time my adrenal and nervous system has taken a beating from bad habits and supplements like pre workouts. This stuff brought high school me back, less sleep more energy, the first couple days were strange for me felt like I was on adderal, I could feel my serotonin levels raised, if you’ve take “big pharma” meds you know. After a few days it’s was more even and I had consistent energy all day no ups and down. Funny enough it’s a crazy pre work out you can go for hours! I mix it with protein powder and that was the trick for me. Tried it with coffee, not the best for me.

I hope I’m feeling the good effects of these mushrooms & that theyvare doing their job..!! YEEEEAAH , I BELIEVE THEY ARE..!

I read reviews prior to buying and decided to give this a try. I’m 74 and have lost much of my get up and go energy. If something can be healthy and get me going, I’m all for it. It should be said first of all that the taste is awful (bitter) and it doesn’t mix well, even with super hot, black coffee. I use a whisk with a little brown sugar and milk to help some, but you’ll still have mushroom powder at the bottom of your cup.
That said, the effects are immediate and impressive. Steady upbeat energy for the whole day. Love it!

Over the last 4 months, I lost 37 lbs. due to stress, then hit some sort of plateau, where the #s weren’t going down on the scale, but was still losing inches. Then I began drinking an Orgain powder shake (1 scoop) with organic chia seeds, organic purple sea moss, unsweetened almond milk & collagen powder in the morning, but still the lbs. weren’t moving much. I began researching medicinal mushrooms & had no idea how beneficial they were, then just over a week ago I began using 911healty and WOW is all I can say! I felt the results the very first day I took it!
My energy level & brain function have been remarkable since beginning this suppliment and have lost 7 lbs!! The energy it provides for you feels natural, not like taking a caffeine pill with a jittery feeling. I will never go without this product. I absolutely LOVE it & recommend

I LOVE this mix. I also LOVE this company. The mix is very fine, mixes wonderfully and taste amazing. I put it in water with coffee creamer and it tastes like hot chocolate. I feel amazing when I’m taking this consistently and will probably take it for the rest of my life. Highly reccomend!

My husband and I both love putting this in Almond Milk (warm) as a latte. I don’t like eating mushrooms so this is a great way to get them in our diet.

When it comes to supplements and vitamins, I always take my time.
I started taking a 7 mushrooms Lions mane powered mix from another company. After a month I started noticing Small instances with my memory, better instant recall and such.
Then I did some research and found out that the extraction process can be wildly different, what parts of the mushroom used is also different from company to company.
I grew up on a farm you eat the fruit, the mushroom. Not the Roots, it makes a difference.
I dug a little deeper and decided to try 911healty.
Smaller run companies tend to put Pride in what they have produced.
RESULTS:
Within a week I noticed a change in my longer term memory. I was pulling out all the words to songs from 50 years ago.
After being on the 10 mushroom superfood for a few months all I can say is They’re doing it right.
I am currently adding some of their Lions mane powder and trying out the liquid extract.
Don’t take my word do some research into extraction processes for mushrooms.
Then go place an order, I always add it to my coffee in the morning.

Ok, so after reading so many negative reviews on the flavor I was dreading drinking this. Didn’t stop me from getting it though, as I am after benefits and results.
I am only on my fourth day so my review is based on that.
I am just getting out of advanced adrenal fatigue, I’ve had terrible inflammation and all the symptoms and my endocrine system totally wack. It was from long term stress and trauma, as I am actually a very healthy person minus my bouts of caffeine. I have extreme brain fog, sometimes I don’t know if it’s the AF fog or remnants of aphasia from brain damage from a really bad migraine episode that resurfaces sometimes. Maybe combination. Anyways, between the brain fog and extreme fatigue I have been looking for ways to get feeling closer to normal, dozing off in the middle of conference calls with clients or completely spacing out to who or what I was talking about is not productive to say the least.
I got the delivery later in the afternoon and was so excited to take it i took it right away, it was 5pm and I had a hard time falling asleep that night.
The next few days I made sure to take it in the morning
Jesie (verified owner) –
I noticed the difference within days. I get tired everyday and used to have severe fatigue and cloudiness in my mind after lunch. I still have the tiredness, but my mind is at its peak throughout the day.
The dislike for this is if you use the powder, don’t listen to those that say it goes great with coffee! If you like your coffee to taste like the contents of an ashtray sure, but I’m not a fan. It goes better blended with a smoothie.

I have been using 911healty for several months. It took about a month to notice a difference in how it has affected my wellbeing. For some reason the second bag I was getting a slight stomach ache after taking it. I switched to half a scoop and that worked. I’m now using a whole scoop. I’m also using two other brands and types at the same time. It’s helped me with anxiety and negative thoughts and feelings from depression. I put all the powders in a half cup of coffee and use a battery operated frother to blend. I add a packet of organic Stevia and 1/2 tsp. honey. I add hot water from my tea kettle to fill up the cup and add a splash of milk. It gets gritty towards the end so I add a bit more coffee, stir and drink it down. It’s helping me drink less coffee too. I recommend this product for the health benefits of improved overall feeling of wellbeing. I left off a star as I noticed the price has gone up since December. I don’t like that. CM age 72

I’ve been taking this mushroom blend from time to time, but I used to take it with other products. I only knew how great this blend is when I started taking it on its own. From my experience, you won’t regret trying it. It does give you a sense of harmony and peacefulness. I’m worried about my bag running out now lol but I sure will buy it again soon!!

I usually dont write reviews, but I used to have really bad acid indigestion. Once I started drinking this everyday I’ve been able to eat spicy food again with no negative side effects. And I notice a difference when I stop drinking them for any certain period of time. These mushrooms really do work wonders.

These mushrooms work wonders with mood swings.

I like to mix this with Gatorade or Kool-Aid, some type of juice. It does change the flavor a bit, but it’s not awful. I don’t like the taste of mushrooms, but when mixed properly, it doesn’t taste like mushrooms. It does add an earthy taste but that’s to be expected. It blends in very nicely and quickly. I warm up the liquid first and then mix it in so it dissolves fast. I actually did feel a difference in the way that I felt after a few days. I had to wait a few days before my next bag came in, and I did feel worse. I definitely recommend these for anyone who needs extra energy without the jitters or who needs their bowel straightened out lol it will help keep you steady in all ways!

It helps with my brain function after having suffered 2 bad TBI’s (traumatic brain injuries) i love my mushroomies. I have better focus. I love adding them to shakes, teas, coffee or cacao. I even made a tik tok video about how i love them.

I’m a professional Chef and nutritionist. Normally I wouldn’t promote a product without sponsorship. But, in this matter I must. It works, the mushroom combination is sufficient to help in digestive, inflammation, joint pain, brain fog and fatigue issues. Note: this is not some flavored coffee drink, it’s just mushrooms, it will settle in your cup so shake or stir before each drink.

This product is amazing. It works so well for my adhd. I was super skeptical of an over the counter product that would work as well as i needed it too but it truly does. I ran out for a week and what a huge difference. I signed up for subscribe and save for this product which I NEVER do just to be sure I don’t run out again.

I have add, anxiety and daily stress due to my job and my daily life with my kids :p I don’t like taking prescription rx’s for add or anxiety due to side effects when I came across this I just had to give a try. I’ve taken this for a full solid year now every morning in my one cup of coffee and let me tell you it work. I see the difference when I go a morning without because I forgot to place an order when I run out… this helps me stay focused, boosts energy, calms my mind throughout the whole day reducing my stress levels, when I don’t take this I’m a wreck and can’t get motivated to do my day to day. This helps tremendously with my ADD and anxiety mixed together, I highly recommend to anyone looking for natural add suppressor, energy booster and stress reducer. This stuff is golden.

Honestly was surprised how well this mix blends into nearly anything and doesn’t overpower with flavor (it’s so mild!). I also didn’t think we would see so many benefits so quickly, but a scoop every morning in our coffee for the last 2 weeks has already improved our mental clarity, sleep quality and gut health. Highly recommend this product when you’re ready to enhance your health with the power of mushrooms!

This product is absolutely amazing. It’s given me energy, focus, gut health, etc…needless to say I’ll be ordering this via subscription. New favorite for sure! Absolutely love it!

At 55+, my body decided it was time to exit the Funhouse for a walk on the wild and natural side. Doot-da-doot-da-doot-doot-da-doot. I said, hey Babe, take a walk on the wild mushroom side…
Anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, depression…granted at birth, possibly epigenetically linked; certainly nurtured through a few traumatic life experiences that could be made into lesbian crime dramas (is that even a genre?)
But after a few years of really digging into the research on what’s in my food, water, air…and in those jagged little pills…
I happened upon 911healty! Within the first week of imbibing it in my coffee, my mood improved, my focus returned, and my energy picked up considerably. Is it fairy dust/dirt? I wonder, because it feels like magic. (And it tasted just fine in coffee and herbal tea alike; just stir often as other reviewers have said)
I said hey, sugar, take a walk on the wild mushroom side…doot-da-doot-da-doot-doot-da-doot.

It’s hard to know if these mushrooms supplements really work. How does one measure nerve growth factor in Lion’s Mane or immune support in Turkey Tail? Well, I gotta tell you, Om works. At least for me it does.
I’ve been using another supplement brand on Amazon and even gave them a great review. I stumbled on 911healty while finding an alternative for Host Defense mushroom supplements. HD, founded by Paul Stametz, is the gold standard of mushroom supplements. I found the alternative in 911healty. The mushrooms are grown in the Europe (environment matters) and they add complex biomatter to the soil so you’re not getting a mushrooms (and mycelium) that absorbed good stuff as they grew.
I used it for a few days and noticed after the third day that I wasn’t having my post-lunch drag and requisite nap. Today, while hiking, I noticed during a steep incline that I didn’t need to take 5-6 breaks when I used to need those.
The jury is still out on the nerve growth factor and immune support but I’m impressed with everything else so far.
