Powder is white and is a bit gritty. I add a scoop into my morning coffee with stevia extract. Pleasant, mild taste. I also take a scoop mixed with water. Doesn’t really dissolve but it’s doable. Would be great in capsules if you can’t deal with gritty textures, or add to smoothies. I added a scoop to a teaspoon of Cocoanut oil and used as toothpaste. Polishes nicely & left my teeth and mouth feeling silky smooth.
I’m using this to help rebuild my connective tissue, repair my nerves and gut lining- all damaged from chronic lyme disease that went undiagnosed for 20+ years. I have only been using this twice daily for six days so far BUT holy smokes! I’m seeing visual results already. My skin is ever so slightly plumber, especially my aging neck skin, and I wouldn’t mind if this continues to improve the longer I use it, but my finger nails! Holy smokes! They are stronger now than ever before, they used to be rather transparent…. Now they are almost fully solid, healthy white…. Seems like they are filling in and getting stronger first as I haven’t had a surge of length yet but I Know to expect that as soon as my body is done filling in the gaps so to speak.

The first time i tried it, (one tiny scoop burried way inside the powder which requires a fork to remove) – it seemed to take away an intense bone pain from when I fell last November. I noticed that my nails seem harder as well. My hair feels thicker. All good. I mix it with a little juice and water and decided to double the teeny dose to two teeny scoops (the revommended amount on bag). I look forward to taking it daily. Highly recommend – especially for older people like myself who need the shoring up in our infrastructure of silica from a plant based source – as opposed to getting it from a mineral from the ground.

This product not only is great for hair skin and nails but also helps with bones and internal organ linings. It also produces smooth bowel movements. I had several bug bites on my skin that seems to heal very rapidly due to taking this. Stay on it you need a very very small amount of this in water two teeny scoops that you put in a smoothie. I take one measurement spoon x 3 times a day. Nails are the very first to respond to this wonderful Bamboo Silica. Now they are strong and smooth I.e. the wavy pattern goes slowly away. Think my eyebrows got slightly thicker. But my final ambition with this product is to prevent wrinkles and erase the first signs of varicose veins. I did some research and many sources state silica has a tremendously strengthening effect on blood vessel walls. It also makes them very flexible. I beleive this product is excellent. I have a very hard time getting enuf protein and fat due to Gastroparesis. It is very hard 4 me to eat more than European whole Milk Yogurt, Gelatin Knox blocks made of Lemon, Pineapple and Ginger juice water w/raw honey and stevia made unflavored gelatin and Zen Principle Beef Gelatin collagen Protein and AM drink made w/ same juices and Custom Collagen Hydrolyzed Gelatin Beef Collagen Peptides. I try very hard to get at least 1/2 a vegan protein shake made w/ goat milk down. I believe taking Microingredients Muscle up L-Arginine is helping w/ any muscle wasting.
